During the build, the body from the 1967 Scout 800 was mounted onto the frame of the 1974 Scout II, and it was repainted matte silver with a matte gray removable Travel Top. Additional equipment includes aftermarket bumpers, a drop-down tailgate, and rear towing shackles. The 15â³ black-finished steel wheels are mounted with 31Ã10. 5â³ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. Stopping power is provided by hydroboosted front disc and rear drum brakes. The seats are trimmed in black vinyl and were installed during the build along with replacement carpets, door panels, and sun visors. Appointments include air conditioning, a Boss stereo, and aftermarket marine-style speakers. The Grant GT steering wheel frames a replacement 120-mph speedometer with an inset digital odometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.
